Long-term disability is a valuable benefit that reduces the risk of financial setbacks if you are unable to work due to an illness or injury. This benefit can help you maintain your standard of living past the end of your short-term disability benefit if you’re still unable to work, and can last until you reach retirement age or recover from your disability.

How It Works
